Facade Designer
London | Full-time | Competitive salary
We are looking for a Facade Designer to join a growing glazing and facade specialist working across external envelope, glazing, cladding and remediation projects.
This role would suit someone who enjoys producing practical, buildable design information and working closely with project, site, commercial and technical teams.
You will be involved in turning survey findings, existing building information and technical requirements into clear design details that support safe, compliant and well-coordinated delivery on site.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Facade, glazing and building envelope design
- GA drawings, elevations, sections and construction details
- Glazing interfaces, curtain walling, cladding and EWI/render details
- Fire safety detailing, cavity barriers and fire-stopping interfaces
- Reviewing survey information, existing drawings and site conditions
- Coordinating with consultants, suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors
- Supporting site teams with technical queries during construction
- Helping develop compliant, practical and buildable design solutions

What we’re looking for:
- Experience in facade, glazing, cladding, curtain walling, EWI or external envelope design
- Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit capability
- Good understanding of external wall systems and how they are built on site
- Knowledge of fire safety detailing, cavity barriers and facade remediation
- Ability to interpret drawings, surveys and existing building information
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
- Confidence working with project teams, consultants and subcontractors

Experience with rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, glazing systems, EWI/render, brickwork interfaces, balcony remediation, fire stopping or high-rise residential facade works would be highly relevant.
This could suit a Facade Designer, Glazing Designer, Cladding Designer, Technical Designer or Remediation Designer with strong building envelope experience.
