Full-time
We are looking for a Facade Designer to join a growing glazing and facade specialist working across external envelope, glazing, cladding and remediation projects.
This is a hands-on design role suited to someone who can take survey information, existing building details and technical requirements, then turn them into clear, buildable design solutions for site delivery.
You will work closely with project, commercial, technical and site teams, supporting the design development of facade and glazing packages from early detail through to construction support.
The role will involve:
- Producing facade, glazing and building envelope design drawings
- Preparing GA drawings, elevations, sections and construction details
- Developing details for glazing interfaces, curtain walling, cladding, EWI/render systems and brickwork interfaces
- Supporting cavity barrier, fire-stopping and fire safety detailing
- Reviewing survey findings, existing drawings and site conditions
- Coordinating with consultants, suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors
- Supporting technical submissions, design risk information and design packs
- Helping ensure designs are practical, compliant and suitable for site installation
- Providing technical support to site teams during construction

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
