About The Role:

The Crowd are excited to be partnering with an innovative and highly specialised international façade and building envelope consultancy. Our client is a boutique and emerging practice, led by one of the leading façade engineers in the industry internationally. They are now looking for a Façade Engineer to join their friendly, close-knit and collaborative team on an initial three-month contract, working approximately 16 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours and, longer term, a full-time position.

Working at the intersection of architecture and engineering, the practice works on high-profile, large-scale projects, specialising in the technical design, engineering and performance of complex building envelopes. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is interested in the specialist world of building envelopes and wants to develop their technical expertise within a highly knowledgeable team. While previous façade or building envelope experience is highly desirable, the team are open to candidates with a broader engineering background who demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent software skills and an enthusiasm for learning.

The ideal person will have a strong passion for façade engineering and architecture and is keen to learn and develop under one of the leading designers the industry has to offer. You will be involved in the technical development and analysis of façade systems, working alongside experienced façade engineers on international projects where engineering, building physics, performance and architectural design come together. The role will provide exposure to a broad range of façade materials, systems and technical challenges, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within this specialist area.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
