Façade Site Manager
Location: Ashford, Kent
Rate: £250–£280 per day (CIS, self-employed), depending on experience

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Façade Site Manager to manage the external envelope package on a four-block residential development in Ashford. The package includes curtain walling, aluminium windows and doors, rainscreen and aluminium cladding, copings, flashings, railings and balustrades. You will manage the works from setting out and installation through to quality control, snagging and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site sequencing, labour, subcontractors and short-term programming.
- Monitor progress against the main construction programme.
- Review drawings, specifications, setting out and tolerances.
- Manage quality, inspections, snagging and sign-off.
- Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics.
- Manage RAMS, permits, working at height, lifting operations and MEWP use.
- Liaise with the client, main contractor, consultants and ANTVIC design team.
- Identify and resolve technical and logistical issues.

Requirements
- Proven façade, cladding or building envelope site management experience.
- Experience with curtain walling, windows/doors and aluminium or rainscreen cladding.
- Strong understanding of technical and fabrication drawings.
- SMSTS and valid CSCS – essential.
- First Aid, IPAF or Temporary Works experience – desirable.
- Knowledge of façade-related Building Regulations – desirable.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Own transport and ability to travel reliably to Ashford.

What We Offer
- £250–£280 per day, depending on experience.
- CIS, self-employed basis.
- Fortnightly payments against approved timesheets.
- Rate review after three months.
- Potential for ongoing work on future ANTVIC projects.
