Job Description
Facades Manager - Permanent - SW London
The Role
Ballymore is looking for an experienced Facades Manager to join our Construction team on The Capston (EG AO1) Project.
This is a key site-based role with responsibility for the successful delivery of the façade package, coordinating contractors, logistics, quality, health and safety, interfaces and programme requirements. Working closely with the wider project team and façade contractor, you will ensure works are planned and sequenced effectively, delivered safely and completed to the required quality and design standards.
We are looking for someone with strong façade industry experience who can take ownership of their package, build effective relationships on site and maintain a clear focus on quality, programme and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day site delivery and logistics of the façade package, including crane bookings, workface access, material protection and distribution, coordinating with other trades where required.
- Chair daily coordination meetings with the façade contractor to agree priorities, work locations, methodology, sequencing, labour levels, progress and actions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily site diaries and works records relating to the façade package.
- Monitor site housekeeping and health and safety performance, promptly escalating and addressing any areas of non-compliance.
- Coordinate structural handovers to the façade contractor in line with the programme, ensuring areas are suitable and ready for façade installation to commence.
- Support the monitoring of façade contractor quality assurance procedures and workmanship, ensuring works comply with approved design intent and agreed quality standards.
- Manage sectional and staged handovers in line with the façade programme, coordinating interfaces with follow-on trades.
- Monitor site progress against the agreed programme, identifying and recording delays, disruption and emerging delivery risks.
- Attend and actively contribute to weekly façade package coordination and progress meetings.
- Work closely with other package managers and the wider construction team to effectively coordinate interfaces between the façade and other external works packages.
- Monitor works against agreed benchmarks, inspection and sign-off procedures, maintaining detailed and accurate quality records throughout delivery.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
