Face-to-Face Fundraising Campaign Manager

Location: Greater London

Salary: £34,000 to £36,000 basic salary, depending on experience

Realistic OTE: £45,000 to £55,000+

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Lead an Established Save the Children Fundraising Team

The GRIT Project is looking for an exceptional face-to-face fundraising leader to take ownership of our London operation.

You’ll inherit an established, high-performing team of approximately 8 to 10 Fundraisers and Team Leaders representing Save the Children across London.

Your responsibility will be to develop the team, improve performance, protect donor quality and compliance, and build the leadership structure needed for continued growth.

This is not a desk-based management position. You’ll spend most of your week in the field, fundraising, team leading and coaching people in real time.

The role could suit an experienced Team Leader ready for their first management opportunity, or an existing Campaign Manager who still enjoys fundraising and leading from the front.

What You’ll Own

  • Day-to-day leadership of our London Save the Children campaign.
  • Direct management and development of Fundraisers and Team Leaders.
  • Personal, individual and team fundraising performance.
  • Regular field coaching, performance reviews and development plans.
  • Recruitment, interviewing, onboarding and staff retention.
  • Development of future Team Leaders and managers.
  • Fundraising rotas, locations, deployment and operational administration.
  • Donor quality, compliance and supporter experience.
  • Sustainable growth of the London operation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What Success Looks Like

You’ll build trust with the existing team, establish consistent coaching routines and understand where each person can improve.

Over time, you’ll develop stronger Fundraisers, produce future leaders and build an increasingly self-sustaining operation capable of growing without lowering its standards.

Success will not be judged on volume alone. Personal and team performance, donor quality, compliance, staff retention, leadership development and culture all matter.

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

  • Proven face-to-face fundraising experience.
  • Experience leading or managing fundraising teams.
  • Strong personal fundraising ability.
  • A sound understanding of fundraising compliance and donor quality.
  • Strong coaching, communication and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to address underperformance constructively.
  • The resilience and judgement to make good decisions in a fast-moving field environment.
  • A genuine desire to develop people, not simply manage them.

Experience with recruitment, onboarding, regular-giving campaigns or developing future Team Leaders would be valuable. A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with high standards. Someone who takes ownership, welcomes honest feedback, enjoys healthy competition and wants the people around them to succeed.
