Facilities and Compliance Manager - £55-65k + Car Allowance + Mileage + Package – ID: 11837

We are currently working with a highly established, large-scale infrastructure organisation seeking a Facilities and Compliance Manager to join their team and cover their commercial offices nationally.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of SHEQ, the Facilities and Compliance Manager will provide effective leadership and management over the Management discipline of the company's offices and premises, driving efficiency and continuous improvement of service and providing effective contract management for outsourced services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and management system requirements, including fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, gas etc
  • Oversee FM and M&E contractors
  • Manage planned/reactive maintenance programmes
  • Drive service performance through KPIs and SLAs
  • Support the delivery of sustainability, business continuity and workplace improvement initiatives
  • Provide reporting to the SHEQ Leadership and Board
  • Ensure compliance standards are met and a high level of response
  • Regular compliance inspections and site visits

Requirements

  • Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) qualification or equivalent
  • Strong practical Facilities Management experience with commercial office environments
  • Hold strong workplace compliance experience
  • Experience managing FM and/or M&E contractors
  • Ability to manage SLAs and KPIs and drive service performance
  • Experience overseeing multiple sites and geographically dispersed locations
  • Strong contractor and supplier management experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
