This is a high-profile operational role managing a busy headquarters building that hosts a significant programme of conferences, events, meetings, and stakeholder activity throughout the year. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, compliant, welcoming, and professionally managed environment for employees, members, visitors, and event attendees.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Facilities Manager who enjoys being visible, engaging with people, leading a team, and driving high standards across all aspects of facilities management and service delivery.

Key facts:

  • Contract: full time, permanent
  • Salary: ca £43,000 - £48,000 per annum
  • Location: office based in central London

The role

You will lead a small, established facilities team and oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy central London building, ensuring contractors perform effectively, compliance obligations are maintained, and customers receive an excellent experience.

The organisation has recently invested significantly in strengthening its compliance framework and is now entering an exciting phase of continuous improvement, estate investment, and building enhancement projects. This includes refurbishment works, space utilisation initiatives, and opportunities to improve conference and event facilities.

Working closely with the Head of Facilities, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the building while ensuring operational excellence is maintained day to day.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the day-to-day facilities operation of a busy headquarters building.
  • Lead, support and develop a small facilities team.
  • Oversee contractor performance across cleaning, security, maintenance, and other service providers.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and health & safety obligations are maintained.
  • Chair health & safety meetings and monitor actions through to completion.
  • Manage planned preventative maintenance programmes and remedial works.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, presentation, and customer experience.
  • Support the successful delivery of onsite conferences, meetings, and events.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure facilities services meet business needs.
  • Monitor service levels, contractor performance, and value for money.
  • Support facilities compliance activities across a number of satellite locations.
  • Contribute to ongoing building improvement and estate projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
