My client is a fast-growing technology business developing advanced software and robotics that are transforming global logistics. Its teams span hardware, manufacturing, software, AI and commercial, and work closely together to deliver results at pace.
The Role
As Facilities Assistant, you will be the hands-on heart of the site, keeping five units safe, well maintained and running smoothly day to day. You will support the Office Manager and work closely with the Office Administrator.
This is an active, practical role with no two days the same, ideal for someone who enjoys fixing things, taking pride in their surroundings and being on their feet. There is a considerable amount of manual handling involved.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs, such as fixing toilets, door hinges and fittings
- Painting and decorating, and hanging TVs and screens
- Carry out regular inspections to make sure all facilities and equipment are properly maintained
Site and waste management
- Operate the baler and manage waste and recycling collections
- Keep kitchens and bathrooms across all five units organised, clean and well stocked
- Manage the cleanliness and presentation of client meeting rooms
Facilities administration
- Administer security passes
- Assist with stationery orders
- Support the Office Manager and Office Administrator with ad hoc duties as needed

About You
- Hands-on maintenance experience, comfortable with general repairs, painting and decorating
- A flexible, self-starting approach, happy with a physical role involving manual handling
- Working knowledge of health and safety
- Able to be on site five days a week and commute to Wallingford reliably
