ROLE OVERVIEW
Job Title: Facilities Assistant
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Industry: Health & Nutrition, Life Science

Looking for a role where no two days are the same? As a Facilities Assistant, you'll play a key part in keeping our laboratories and facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. From supporting maintenance activities and managing stock to helping ensure compliance standards are met, you'll be at the heart of our operations and have the opportunity to develop a wide range of practical and technical skills.

What you'll be doing:
- Managing stock, materials, and inventory to support day-to-day operations
- Supporting facility and laboratory maintenance, housekeeping, and routine inspections
- Assisting with equipment maintenance, calibration activities, and contractor visits
- Helping maintain GMP/GLP standards through accurate documentation and compliance activities
- Contributing to a safe, organised, and well-maintained working environment
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys a practical, hands-on role
- Is organised, reliable, and has a great eye for detail
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is keen to learn new skills and build a long-term career
Ideal backgrounds could include: Facilities Assistant, Maintenance Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Stores Controller, Laboratory Assistant, Production Operative, Caretaker, Building Services Assistant, or candidates with electrical, plumbing, joinery, or general maintenance experience.
