Facilities Assistant
Are you practical, proactive, and take pride in keeping buildings safe, clean and running smoothly? We're looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our busy Facilities Team at Loughborough Students' Union. This hands-on role offers a varied working day, supporting building maintenance, event set-ups, health and safety compliance, deliveries, and caretaking duties across one of the UK's leading Students' Unions. If you have a customer-focused attitude, enjoy problem-solving, and are confident carrying out general maintenance tasks, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Details
- Position: Facilities Assistant
- Hours: 35 hours per week (part-time or job share roles considered)
- Starting Salary: £24,676
- Shifts: Typically five days a week, especially during University terms
- Work Schedule: Flexibility required, including early mornings and weekend work as part of a rota, particularly around key events and busy periods such as Freshers’ in late September and awards session in May and June
