About The Role:

Days of Working: This position will be based at First Street Hub, Manchester, working Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 4.00pm.

Are you a proactive and organised professional with a passion for delivering high-quality facilities services? OCS is looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our team in the Yorkshire region, covering sites across Sheffield, Leeds, and Wakefield. In this mobile role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of soft services including cleaning, porterage, reception, and helpdesk operations. You’ll support the Facilities Manager and wider contract team to maintain service excellence, drive performance, and build strong client relationships.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and monitor performance across cleaning, porterage, reception, helpdesk, and accommodation services to meet KPIs and SLAs.
  • Coordinate in-house teams, manage staffing levels, and support recruitment processes including interviews and onboarding.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients in the Facilities Manager’s absence, ensuring professional and proactive communication.
  • Support contract compliance through documentation, audits, and reporting to senior management.
  • Manage helpdesk operations, analyse service data, and produce reports to support continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undertake a DBS.
  • Proven experience managing soft services within a facilities management or service delivery environment.
  • Experience supervising operational teams and coordinating service delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high service standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and reporting systems.
  • Ability to analyse operational data and produce accurate management reports.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a multi-site facilities management contract.
  • Knowledge of helpdesk systems, CAFM platforms, and service management processes.
  • Familiarity with recruitment activities, disciplinary procedures, and general HR practices.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of KPI and SLA management within a facilities management environment.
