Location: Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge, UK (On-site)
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks (Potential Extension)
Rate: Up to £15 per hour (Inside IR35)
Working Hours: 40 Hours per Week | Typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Coordinator to support workplace operations at a modern Amgen office in Cambridge. Working closely with the onsite Facilities Manager and wider JLL team, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office, providing excellent workplace support to employees, visitors, and vendors.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with facilities, workplace, office administration, hospitality, customer service, or coordination experience who enjoy a varied, people-focused role.

Key Responsibilities
Workplace & Facilities Operations
- Serve as a key point of contact for employees, visitors, and guests.
- Manage and respond to facilities helpdesk requests within agreed service levels.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and vendor visits.
- Conduct office inspections and report facility-related issues.
- Support meeting rooms, office equipment, printers, furniture, and workplace services.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Assist with mail, courier, and postage activities.
- Support internal events and workspace setups.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Coordinate onsite contractors and service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance and work quality.
- Escalate service issues when required.

Finance & Administration
- Raise and process purchase orders.
- Support invoice and budget tracking activities.
- Assist with procurement processes using systems such as Ariba.
Health & Safety
- Support workplace health and safety compliance.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and record maintenance.
- Report safety concerns and support H&S initiatives.
Stakeholder Support
- Build positive relationships with client employees and suppliers.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused workplace experience.
- Work collaboratively with Facilities, IT, Security, and other support teams.
