Laundry Facilities Co-ordinator at Little Bill Laundry

40 hours a week (Shift Pattern 5/ 7 days working from 06:00-14:30/14:30 -23:00)
£28,000.00 GBP + Benefits
Our Laundry service Little Bill Laundry – located in Leyton, provides washing services and linen rental producing over 500,000 items a week for our 7 Imperial London Hotels and other hotel brands across central London. We are a family business with over 113 years of experience and are committed to providing a green, sustainable and reliable service through investing in the best machinery and operating a fleet or CNG vehicles to lead the way for sustainable laundry process
We are recruiting for a Facilities Co-ordinator to help keep things running & take pride in every detail.

Little Bill Laundry is looking for a proactive and dependable Facilities Coordinator to help maintain our industrial laundry facility to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role where no two days are the same. From maintaining site standards and supporting engineering projects to ensuring health and safety compliance, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operation running smoothly. Experience working within a factory, manufacturing, industrial, FMCG, warehouse, or production environment is highly desirable.

Candidates with experience maintaining facilities in busy operational settings will be particularly well suited to this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across the site
- Carrying out minor repairs, decorating, drain unblocking, and basic maintenance tasks
- Managing waste disposal and essential consumable stock levels
- Operating industrial cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and buffers
- Supporting maintenance engineers with planned and reactive works
- Conducting site inspections and proactively resolving issues before they become problems
- Managing COSHH records and ensuring safe chemical handling practices
- Escorting contractors and overseeing site access when required

- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Comfortable undertaking physical and hands-on duties
- Good communication skills and the ability to work across departments
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
