Facilities Lead | Manchester, United Kingdom | DP World
Are you an experienced facilities or office management professional who enjoys creating a safe, efficient and welcoming workplace? DP World is looking for a Facilities Lead to take ownership of our Manchester office environment, ensuring excellent standards, operational efficiency and an outstanding employee experience.
About The Role
As Facilities Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Manchester office, ensuring facilities, suppliers, contractors and workplace services operate effectively. Working closely with employees, management teams and external providers, you will proactively manage office operations, maintain high workplace standards and support employee engagement initiatives.
How You Will Contribute
- Lead the effective day-to-day operation and presentation of the Manchester office.
- Manage facilities contractors and suppliers, ensuring services are delivered to agreed standards.
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, security, CCTV and building-related services.
- Oversee office cleaning, workplace standards and the upkeep of communal areas and meeting rooms.
- Manage office supplies, stationery, refreshments and workplace equipment.
- Support Finance and HR teams with facilities documentation, audits and compliance records.
- Organise office events, including quarterly social activities and annual celebrations.
- Act as the central point of contact for office-related queries and proactively resolve workplace issues.
- Support operational and administrative requirements across other DP World offices when required.
- Help create a safe, professional and engaging working environment for employees and visitors.

What You Will Bring
- Previous experience in facilities management, office management, workplace administration or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Experience managing suppliers, contractors and service providers.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
