Company Description

Gr8Space Developments is the development arm of the Gr8Space group, specializing in the restoration and conversion of listed and heritage buildings. The company has delivered more than 250 residential units over the last decade, with projects ranging from small schemes of 7 units to larger developments of up to 132 units. Gr8Space works closely with its contracting arm, Living Heritage, which oversees construction activities to ensure high-quality delivery. Team members join a business that values craftsmanship, sustainable development, and the preservation of historic properties for modern living.

Role Description

The Facilities & Customer Service Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Henley-In-Arden. This role oversees the day-to-day facilities operations across completed developments, including coordination of maintenance, inspections, and repair activities with internal teams and external contractors. The manager responds to resident and client inquiries, manages service requests, and ensures that customer issues are handled promptly and professionally.

  • Maintaining records of facilities work
  • Monitoring health and safety standards
  • Supporting move-ins, handovers, and ongoing property care
  • Continuous improvement of service processes to enhance resident satisfaction and protect the long-term integrity of the buildings

Qualifications

  • Facilities management skills, including coordination of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to resolve issues and communicate clearly and professionally
  • Organizational and administrative skills, including record-keeping, scheduling, and basic reporting
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards relevant to residential or commercial properties
  • Experience working with contractors and suppliers, including negotiating and monitoring service delivery
  • Ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple priorities, and make sound decisions
  • Previous experience in property, housing, construction, or facilities management is highly beneficial
  • Comfort using standard office software and digital tools for communication, documentation, and task tracking
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between local sites as required
