Dunbia Facilities Engineer Opportunity
Dunbia are one of Europe’s leading food processing companies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has proven manufacturing Facilities Engineering experience who wants to take an exciting next step in their career.
Reporting directly into the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities. This individual will support in the building maintenance and site services. The role involves coordinating with various departments to maintain a high standard of safety, efficiency, and functionality across all facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance of all physical assets, including HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and structural components. Schedule and supervise regular maintenance activities and ensure all facilities comply with safety and health regulations.
- Support in managing facility-related projects from inception to completion.
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors to source materials and services.
- Support the implementation of sustainability and energy efficiency programs. Identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption and improving environmental impact.
- Ensure all facilities and activities are in compliance with all policies and regulations. Develop and enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.
- Supervise and mentor junior facilities staff. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.

Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience in facilities management or a related engineering field.
- Proficient in relevant software and other facilities management tools.
- Strong understanding of building systems, including electrical and plumbing plus steam Boilers
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including management, staff, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to work closely with external contractors on facilities including Ammonia plant, steam plant, water treatment and water management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and innovative approach.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to ensure quality control and compliance with regulations and standards.
