Our client is a leading manufacturing company supplying advanced engineering components to the Aerospace, Automotive & High Technology Sectors. Due to continued growth and expansion, they have a new vacancy for a EHS & Facilities Engineering Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Health & Safety management systems, managing facilities maintenance and identifying areas for improvement across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the site, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the facilities maintenance of buildings, utilities and site infrastructure.
  • Manage facilities maintenance contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, cost, and performance standards are met.
  • Identify areas for improvement across the plant and implement changes.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage suppliers and control budgets for facilities services.

The Person

  • Proven experience in an EHS and/or Facilities Management role within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Recognized Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma, certification or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Experience managing contractors, maintenance programs, and facility improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
