Job Introduction

At Charlie Bigham's, we believe that a clean, safe and well-presented workplace is essential to creating a great environment for our teams. As our Facilities & Hygiene Supervisor, you'll lead a small team responsible for maintaining high standards across our offices, welfare facilities, café, changing rooms, washrooms and other shared spaces.

This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll lead by example, support and develop your team, and ensure our facilities consistently meet the high standards expected across our site. From organising daily cleaning activities and managing stock levels to carrying out inspections and driving continuous improvements, you'll play a key role in creating an environment our colleagues can be proud of.

Role Responsibility

  • Lead and inspire a small facilities and hygiene team, creating a positive culture and helping everyone perform at their best.
  • Take ownership of keeping our offices, welfare facilities, café areas, washrooms and shared spaces clean, safe and welcoming.
  • Plan team rotas, holidays and cover arrangements to ensure high standards are maintained every day.
  • Carry out regular inspections and audits, spotting opportunities for improvement and taking action when needed.
  • Coach, train and support team members, helping to build a flexible and multi-skilled team.
  • Champion health and safety best practice, ensuring compliance with COSHH, risk assessments and safe ways of working.
  • Manage stocks of cleaning products, PPE and site consumables, ensuring supplies are always available when needed.
  • Keep cleaning schedules, inspection records and compliance documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Build strong working relationships across the site, working with different teams to resolve issues and support operational needs.
  • Lead from the front in this hands-on role, rolling up your sleeves and supporting the team whenever required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
