Bromley Football Club is a professional football club based at Hayes Lane, with a busy stadium and a range of facilities used throughout the year for football, events, hospitality and community activities. The Club is committed to maintaining a welcoming, safe and professional environment for supporters, staff, players, visitors and event guests. Our facilities team plays an important role in ensuring the stadium and wider site are maintained to a high standard and are ready for matchdays, events and day to day operations.
Role Overview
The Facilities & Site Assistant will support the facilities team with the day-to-day upkeep, cleanliness and general maintenance of the Club’s site. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe environment across the stadium and surrounding areas. This will include general site tidying, litter picking, weeding and moving kegs, rubbish and other items around the site.
The role will also involve supporting the wider facilities team with maintenance tasks, site projects and builds taking place across the Club, helping to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day tidying and general upkeep around the stadium and wider site.
- Regularly litter pick across the site, ensuring external areas are kept clean and presentable.
- Undertake general weeding and basic grounds upkeep in designated areas of the site.
- Move kegs, rubbish, equipment and other items around the site as required.
- Assist with the safe removal and disposal of rubbish and general waste.
- Support the Facilities Team with general maintenance tasks and repairs where appropriate.
- Assist with maintenance projects, improvements and builds taking place around the stadium and wider site.
- Help with the preparation and set-up of areas ahead of matchdays, events and other activities.
- Ensure tools, equipment and working areas are kept clean, tidy and safely stored.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, hazards or areas requiring attention to the Facilities Team.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and ensure work is carried out safely at all times.
- Work collaboratively with members of the Facilities and wider Operations teams to support the smooth running of the Club.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to support the needs of the business.

Skills
- Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, grounds, cleaning or site-based role would be advantageous.
- A practical and hands-on approach to work.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to take responsibility for completing tasks to a high standard.
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, tidy and presentable surroundings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual tasks, including moving equipment, kegs and rubbish around the site.
- A flexible approach to duties and the ability to respond to changing priorities.
- Awareness of health and safety requirements and a commitment to working safely.
Hours of Work
You will be required to work hours as reasonably required to fulfil the needs of the business. This may include Bromley FC matchdays, LCL matchdays, events, evenings and weekends as required. The role will involve working both indoors and outdoors and may require periods of physical activity and manual handling.
