About The Role:

Working Pattern:
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Main Purpose:
To support their line manager in the delivery of the existing MaST FM contracts.
To directly manage a team of directly employed Maintenance Assistances.
This will be achieved via the practical implementation of the company’s management system and the utilisation of the supervisor’s knowledge and experience, increasing the quality of output from Engineers, maximising the effectiveness of sub-contractors and ensuring efficient use of materials.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the satisfactory performance and further development of all contracts and accounts for which they are responsible including:
  • Take an active role in the management of all quality, environmental and health & safety issues at each of the sites for which he is responsible in compliance with company policies and arrangements.
  • Compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Arrange Security for OOH works.
  • Attend Property Inspections & site Audits.
  • Log book Audits.
  • Survey of Completed TVR works.
  • Engineers Tool Box Talks.
  • Client satisfaction and the quality of service provided.
  • Responsibility for all day to day management, control, co-ordination, execution of all operations under their remit and reporting directly to their Maintenance Manager.
  • Identifying and implementing innovations to improve service delivery.
  • Ensuring continuity of systems in a manner, which fully complies with all legal, qualitative, health, safety and environmental standards and other relevant guidance.
  • To ensure that tools, equipment and materials are available as and when required to ensure the effective delivery of the service.
  • Ensuring, demonstrate, review and monitor compliance, to meet the expectation and needs of the Client, the quality and organisational goals of the company and satisfy the requirements of BS EN IS0 9001:2015.
  • Productions of reports at regular intervals determined by contract detailing physical progress, including monitoring of output specification by key performance indicators.
  • Monitoring of operatives and professional oversight of all works to ensure satisfactory quality levels.
  • Provide management support to both operations’ manager and the operatives under their control as required.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • A full driving licence.
  • Understanding of asset management principals and maintenance techniques.
  • Experience of operating a management system i.e. ISO 9001:2000, 14001, 18001.
  • A pro-active attitude.
  • Good IT/computer skills.
  • The ability to manage operatives and sub-contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and the written word.
  • The ability to form relationships with clients and to exceed customer expectation.
  • Approachable demeanour and a demonstrable commitment to team working.
  • A formal H&S qualification i.e. IOSH managing safety certificate or similar would be useful.
  • Practical knowledge of the FM industry in the geographic area.
  • A track record of delivering similar role in the geographic area.
  • Understanding of the availability and selection of sub-contractors and specialist service providers in the area.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development in relation to themselves and their team members.
