About the Role:
Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Electrician for a leading global manufacturing and engineering organization. The Facilities Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical maintenance, installation, and fault-finding activities across a busy industrial facility. Working as part of a safety-focused team, you will support facility operations through planned installations, remedial works, reactive maintenance, and collaboration with external contractors. This role also offers the opportunity to support apprentices and contribute to electrical installation projects within production environments.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent inspection and testing qualification).
- Completed electrical apprenticeship in installation and commissioning.
- IPAF 3a & 3b certification.
- IOSH Working Safely certification.
- Strong knowledge of distribution boards, electrical wiring, and containment systems.
- Experience carrying out electrical installations, fault finding, maintenance, and remedial works within an industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a safety-focused team.
- Flexibility to support shutdown and isolation work outside standard working hours when required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out small electrical installation projects across the facility.
- Install and maintain SWA, FP, flex, LS0H 2/3 core + CPC cabling, and metal/plastic containment systems.
- Complete remedial works following fixed-wire inspection reports.
- Conduct reactive electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Coordinate with external electrical contractors to ensure safe and compliant delivery of work.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices where required.
- Assist with electrical installations and maintenance activities within production areas.
