Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
£30,000 - £35,000 + Overtime + Bonus (OTE £45k) + Progression + Training + 33 Days Holiday + 10.5% pension contribution
Location: Cambridge
Are you a Facilities Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical background, looking for a permanent, static role, within a world-leading research organisation on a 400-acre site? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career and advance into supervisory positions within this state-of-the-art facility?
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining HVAC units, fire alarms, smart systems and standby generators with full onsite training. You will also do steam fitting, plumbing and vehicle maintenance. This will be a varied role where you will enhance your skill set on several different areas to make you a more well-rounded Mechanical Engineer.

Established over 100 years ago, this company have over 600 employees and are a well-known leader within their niche industry. They are currently experiencing rapid growth and need a Mechanical Engineer to join their expansive workforce.
The Role:
- Maintaining HVAC units, fire alarms, smart systems and standby generators
- Working on steam systems and doing plumbing work
- Full on the job training provided
- Working on a 400-acre site, within multiple historical and modern buildings
- Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm + Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm
- Overtime paid at 1.5x
- 1 in 8 weeks call out rota
