This is an opportunity for an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager to take real ownership of a multi-site estate, drive standards, improve facilities, manage contractors and suppliers, and play a key role in shaping the future of the working environment.

We're looking for a confident, commercially minded and highly organised Facilities and Maintenance Manager who can take responsibility for the condition, compliance, security and safety of multiple buildings across an operational environment.
You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, influence stakeholders and turn ideas into tangible improvements.

What will you be responsible for?
As Facilities and Maintenance Manager, you'll have broad responsibility across the estate and will become the key point of ownership for facilities, maintenance, compliance and contractor performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking full responsibility for the day-to-day condition, compliance, security and safety of all buildings.
- Managing a range of facilities contractors and suppliers, including cleaning, gardening, maintenance and minor works.
- Taking ownership of contractor performance, scheduling, service levels and cost control.
- Developing and managing a robust planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme across all buildings.
- Playing an active role in building improvement and facilities projects, working alongside engineering and continuous improvement colleagues to scope, cost and deliver upgrades.
- Managing building leases, purchases and sales processes.
- Working closely with sustainability colleagues to identify and deliver energy efficiency, sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives.
- Providing facilities expertise and input into ongoing and future development projects.
- Maintaining a comprehensive facilities risk and compliance programme, including statutory testing, insurance requirements and premises health & safety.
- Regularly reporting on estate condition, contractor performance, compliance and improvement project progress.

What are we looking for?
We're looking for an experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager, Facilities Manager, Facilities & Maintenance Manager or similar professional who knows how to take ownership of a complex operational environment.
You'll ideally bring:
- Proven Facilities Management experience, particularly within manufacturing, production, warehouse or industrial environments.
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety and facilities compliance.
- Proven experience managing contractors, suppliers and external service providers.
- Strong commercial awareness, including cost control and supplier management.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively across different departments and functions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, investigative and problem-solving abilities.
- The confidence to make decisions, influence stakeholders and take responsibility for outcomes.

You'll be trusted to plan your workload, manage priorities and deliver against time, quality and cost objectives.
