Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £41,506.36 (salary including on-call standby 1:4)
Position Type: Permanent
About the Role
My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.
The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical, and building assets in retail stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.
This is likely to include:
- Bakery and catering equipment
- Mechanical and electrical systems and assets
- Lighting systems
- Building fabric
- Water services
- Other static and portable electrical equipment

General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all necessary PPM's and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance
- Supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes
- Prioritize maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA's
Qualifications & Experience
- C&G 2382 (18th edition)
- Level 3 core Electrical qualification, examples of which are: C&G2330, C&G 2365 (with relevant experience), C&G2365

- Travel time paid after half hour each way
- OT paid at 1.5x Mon - Fri / 2x Sat-Sun
