Onsite – Tewkesbury, GBR

Join our dedicated Facilities team at Moog’s Tewkesbury site and help keep our operations safe, efficient, and running smoothly. Please note this role requires a willingness to work shifts covering our 24/5 operation, including potential nights. You’ll deliver planned preventative maintenance, carry out essential checks, and respond quickly to keep disruption to a minimum.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver and support the PPM programme for building systems (HVAC, compressed air, electrical, plumbing, lighting).
  • Carry out visual inspections, meter readings, sampling and routine checks to support compliance and safety.
  • Respond to facility breakdowns and emergencies promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Support energy, water and waste efficiency initiatives to help reduce operating costs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and reports to support audits (ISO/HSE).
  • Assist with facility improvement projects, layout changes and installations.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption.

Who we’re looking for

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in industrial or commercial environments.
  • Good knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques and strong fault-finding skills.
  • Familiarity with PPM procedures and safe working practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Able to work independently, manage workload and prioritise under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work shifts (24/5 support), including potential nights/weekends and emergency call-outs.

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in building trades, plumbing or electrical.
  • Certifications such as Legionella (L8), F-Gas, PAT testing, 18th Edition, HVAC or similar.
  • Health & Safety training and experience working at heights/confined spaces.

Working environment & special considerations

The role supports a 24/5 manufacturing operation; shift work and on-call availability may be required. You will work around high-voltage systems, heavy plant and hazardous materials and must always follow safety procedures. The job requires excellent cross-functional communication with operators, team leaders and production managers.
