The Role:

Calshot Activities Centre is a unique outdoor education facility and visitor attraction in the New Forest National Park. Located on a shingle spit at the mouth of Southampton Water, the site has a long and diverse heritage, including a Tudor Castle and Grade one and two listed buildings.

This is a great opportunity to join the excellent and established facilities team that manage the buildings, grounds, and equipment of Calshot Activities Centre. This team underpins the customer experience at Calshot and enables our 100,000+ visitors a year to enjoy our whole site, from the café through to the campsite.


What you’ll do:

  • Deliver effective, safe, clean and secure facilities management maintenance services for Calshot Activities Centre.
  • Tasks include inspecting activity equipment, grounds maintenance, and basic repair jobs.
  • The role encompasses both statutory and equipment checks as well as the opportunity to complete projects and take on ownership of different areas.
  • Opportunities to contribute to the development of innovative ways to increase productivity of the team and to share ideas about future projects.
