Facilities Management Placement (12 months)

This role will primarily support General Services which manage services and projects such as cleaning, catering, grounds and people transportation in cooperation with internal and external partners. We ensure our internal customer satisfaction and needs are met by using available resources in the most efficient and effective way.

You will:

• Learn the fundamentals of safe operations at a manufacturing facility;
• Support supplier performance reviews;
• Plan and take ownership of weekly & monthly activities;
• Meet and work with stakeholders from across the business;
• Manage and improve services and suppliers to ensure delivery on time, quality and cost.

This job would offer:

This placement is all about the “Agile” working-mode, no day will be the same.

Requirements:

Our placements are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement. Please inform your graduation date on your application.

Your application should include a CV along with a Cover Letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role.

Successful candidates would be able to demonstrate the following:

• Currently studying towards a degree in Business, Project Management, Administration, Operations or Finance;
• Demonstrate an interest for project management.

Candidates would also benefit from the following:

• The ability to work independently when required;
• Willingness to travel within the UK as part of the placement (expenses covered);
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and remotely;
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multinational environment.

This Job Request will be allocated to the projected Joint-Venture scope towards a leading European player in space.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. You may also need to gain UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role.
