The Vacancy

We're looking for a practical, hands-on Facilities Management Technician to join our FM team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys fixing problems, maintaining buildings to a high standard and taking pride in creating safe, clean and well-presented workspaces for our customers.

This is not a desk-based facilities role. You will report into the FMT Team Leader and spend the majority of your time out in our buildings carrying out inspections, first-fix repairs, maintenance tasks and compliance checks, while working closely with our Centre Management and FM teams to ensure our customers have the best possible experience.

You'll have a genuine "get it done" attitude, enjoy solving day-to-day building issues, and be comfortable turning your hand to everything from basic repairs and decorating to contractor supervision and health & safety compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

Building Maintenance & Repairs

  • Carry out first-fix maintenance and minor repairs across our centres.
  • Undertake basic decorating, painting and making-good works.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete assigned tasks through our CAFM system.
  • Keep common areas, external areas and landlord spaces clean, safe and in good decorative order.
  • Identify issues before they become larger problems and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Assist with waste and recycling management, ensuring waste areas remain organised and compliant.
  • Record all completed works and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
