Position: Facilities Manager
Location: Rushden

About The Role
We have a new opening for a Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of Engineering and Facilities services at the Rushden site, and support services that enable reliable site operations and future business growth.
The role will play a key part in transforming Rushden into a modern, data-led and efficient site through effective asset lifecycle management, capital project delivery, energy optimisation, digital facilities systems, business continuity planning and continuous improvement of facilities processes, standards and team capability.

Key roles and responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Rushden Facilities function to deliver safe, compliant, reliable and customer-focused Engineering and Facilities services that support site operations and future business growth.
- Drive the transformation of the Rushden site into a modern, resilient and efficient facility through structured improvement plans, standardised ways of working and effective delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Own and develop the site asset management strategy, ensuring critical plant, utilities, building fabric and infrastructure are maintained through appropriate lifecycle plans, risk assessments, condition reviews and replacement strategies.
- Ensure all facilities operations, installations, maintenance activities and contractor works comply with relevant legislation, GxP expectations, EHS requirements, Pharmaron standards, permits, licenses and authorisations.
- Lead the effective use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring planned maintenance, reactive work, asset records, service reports, compliance evidence and follow-up actions are accurate, current and inspection ready.
- Use facilities data, KPIs and trend information to improve reliability, reduce repeat failures, identify asset risks, improve response times and support evidence-based decision making.

Requirements:
- Significant experience leading Engineering or Facilities operations in a regulated, technical, manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical or similarly complex environment.
- HNC/HND, degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Asset Management or a related discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of UK EHS, statutory compliance and contractor management requirements.
- Demonstrable competence in managing facilities within a regulated, technical or high-compliance environment.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent safety qualification.
- Project management qualification or relevant project delivery experience
- Knowledge of GxP, GMP, GLP, CSV, EMS/BMS or validated systems environments.
- Experience managing critical utilities, building services, HVAC, electrical infrastructure, life safety systems and site services.
- Experience managing contractors, service providers, permits, RAMS, supplier performance and commercial negotiations.
- Experience managing budgets, operating costs, capital projects and supplier spend.
