This is a key management position responsible for ensuring buildings, plant, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards while driving compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors, you'll oversee maintenance programmes, manage budgets, ensure statutory compliance, and support the ongoing development of the facilities function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of facilities operations across several locations.
  • Develop and deliver facilities strategies that support wider business objectives.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of facilities budgets, ensuring effective cost control and value for money.
  • Manage supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring high standards of workmanship and service.
  • Ensure all sites remain fully compliant with relevant legislation, health & safety requirements, and statutory inspections.
  • Plan and coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes for plant and building services.
  • Respond to equipment failures and work closely with operational teams to minimise downtime.

  • Support the delivery of infrastructure improvement projects, including EV charging installations.
  • Provide guidance and support to Facilities Coordinators while ensuring business continuity across all sites.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
