Facilities Manager
Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire
Reporting to: Business Operations Lead - Infrastructure & Environment
At Arena Group, we create exceptional spaces and environments for clients across a wide range of sectors. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to lead the management of our facilities across multiple UK locations, ensuring our workplaces remain safe, compliant, efficient and welcoming.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a facilities professional who enjoys variety, responsibility and making a visible impact. Based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, you will oversee facilities operations across our St Ives, Coventry and Renishaw sites, managing everything from maintenance and contractor performance to health & safety compliance, budgeting and workplace improvements.
You'll also play an important leadership role, supporting and developing our Facilities Coordinator while building strong relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management and compliance of office and warehouse facilities across multiple sites.
- Manage services including maintenance, security, cleaning, waste management, mail and meeting room facilities.
- Lead and support the Facilities Coordinator.
- Manage supplier relationships, service contracts and procurement activities.
- Control facilities budgets, approve expenditure and support annual CAPEX planning.
- Coordinate repairs, refurbishments and planned maintenance programmes.
- Oversee company vehicles and plant assets.

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a Facilities Management role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience managing people and developing team members.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
- IWFM Level 3 Qualification in Facilities Management, RoSPA qualification or equivalent experience.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate would be beneficial.

Additional Information
This role requires regular travel between our St Ives, Coventry and Renishaw locations, so a valid UK driving license is essential. You will also act as a key holder and first responder for out-of-hours facilities issues at our St Ives site.
