Location: Boundary Road, Lytham (with responsibility across multiple Group sites)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Facilities Manager

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to take ownership of the maintenance, security, safety and operational effectiveness of a diverse portfolio of properties across the Tangerine Group. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring our facilities are maintained to the highest standards, supporting business operations while creating safe, efficient and welcoming environments for employees, visitors and customers. You will lead facilities and maintenance teams, manage contractors, oversee budgets and projects, and drive continuous improvement across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Property Management

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of multiple Group locations, including:
    • Tangerine Group Holdings
    • Mill Farm Sports Village
    • Kellamergh Park Training Ground
    • Dock Road Private Office
    • The Villa, Wrea Green
    • Cark Manor, Cartmel
    • Aynsome Manor, Cartmel
    • Chairman's private properties across the Fylde Coast

Utilities & Cost Management

  • Work closely with the Energy Manager to maximise efficiency across all facilities
  • Develop and implement utility cost reduction initiatives
  • Monitor performance and prepare monthly reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of utility meters and services
  • Support supplier contract negotiations and renewals

Building Maintenance

  • Ensure all buildings and facilities are maintained to an exceptional standard
  • Manage in-house maintenance teams and external contractors
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Ensure teams have the tools, equipment and materials required to perform effectively

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain and support health, safety and environmental procedures across all sites
  • Conduct and oversee risk assessments and COSHH assessments
  • Manage accident and incident reporting processes
  • Ensure contractors and visitors comply with site safety requirements
  • Deliver training and support the implementation of new policies and procedures

Security Management

  • Oversee CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems
  • Ensure fire alarm and firefighting equipment is maintained and compliant
  • Manage keyholder records and site security procedures

Grounds & Cleaning Management

  • Ensure all sites are presented to the highest standards internally and externally
  • Oversee grounds maintenance including landscaping, grass cutting and weed control
  • Manage cleaning teams across Group sites (excluding hotel cleaning teams)
  • Promote environmentally responsible practices and waste reduction initiatives

Project Management

  • Lead facilities improvement projects from planning through to completion
  • Prepare tender documentation and manage procurement processes
  • Coordinate contractors and subcontractors
  • Identify opportunities to improve facilities while delivering value for money

What We're Looking For

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Facilities Management, Estates Management or Property Operations role
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers and service agreements
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications
