Facilities Manager
Location: Leyland (Primary) & Multiple Other sites (As Required)
Reports to: Head of Operations
Ready to pour your expertise into a brand-new challenge?
At VictorianPlumbing.co.uk, we’re not just the UK’s leading bathroom retailer; we’re a high-speed operation that relies on world-class infrastructure. We are looking for a Facilities Manager who can keep our engine room running smoothly across our Leyland and Multiple other sites across the North West.
If you are a strategic thinker who knows how to keep a large-scale operation from running dry, it’s time to take the plunge with a team that’s truly going places.
The Role: Making a Splash
This isn’t just about keeping the lights on. As our Facilities Manager, you’ll be the custodian of our physical workspace, ensuring our warehouses are safe, efficient, and fully compliant. Based primarily at our Leyland site, with periodic visits to oversee our multiple other sites across the north west, you’ll ensure our facilities are as polished as a high-end mixer tap.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Flow: Head up a multi-disciplinary team, providing the direction and development needed to foster a culture of excellence.
- Financial Precision: Manage budgets and resources with a steady hand. You’ll ensure we get maximum value without letting quality slip down the plughole.
- Watertight Compliance: Implement robust internal controls and H&S measures. You’ll be the gatekeeper of safety, ensuring we meet every regulation with room to spare.
- Contractor Coordination: Proactively manage service providers. We expect high standards, and you’ll be the one ensuring our partners deliver every time.
- Continuous Improvement: Don’t just maintain the status quo—refresh it. You’ll develop strategies to boost efficiency and reduce costs across all sites.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
