Team Leader

Wymondham Leisure Centre boasts a state-of-the-art gym, three studios, two swimming pools, relaxing spa facilities, a multi-functional sports hall, and an on-site café. We are now looking for a proactive and dedicated Team Leader to join our team and play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience.

As a Team Leader, you will play a central role in the day-to-day operation of the centre. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the facility, acting as a keyholder and the senior staff member in the absence of the Assistant Centre Managers.

You will take responsibility for supervising the centre during your shift, maintaining high standards across all areas, and ensuring that every customer receives a first-class service. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a flexible approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading an operational team to deliver a high-quality service
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the building, its users, and staffing teams
  • Ensuring the centre is well-presented, fully operational, and compliant with health and safety requirements
  • Supporting the Centre Manager and Assistant Centre Managers in the ongoing operation of the facility
  • Working closely with the Fitness Team and Front of House staff, offering guidance and support where needed
  • Assisting poolside with day-to-day tasks, including lifeguarding duties when required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
