Facilities Manager
Stone
Up to £55,000 (depending on experience)
If you are someone who is really looking for something to get your teeth into and are all about getting things done……..this one’s for you.
This isn’t a role where everything is already polished and running perfectly. It’s a site that needs bringing back up to standard. The kind of place where the basics matter, where people notice when things aren’t right, and where the right person can make a visible difference quickly.
You will be stepping into a role with real ownership. Not just managing contractors or ticking boxes, but actually taking control of how the site operates day to day. Fixing what needs fixing, improving what’s there, and helping shape how the facility supports the business as it continues to grow.
There is genuine investment going into the site, with improvements already underway and more planned. There isn’t a fully defined structure in place, so this is an opportunity to build how facilities should operate going forward, putting the right processes, standards and support in place for the long term.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
