Stratford Girls' Grammar School

We are seeking to appoint a Facilities Manager to play a central role in the safe, effective and efficient management of our school site. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys both the practical and management sides of facilities management: leading day-to-day site team operations, leading on health and safety compliance, managing contractors and budgets, and helping to ensure that our buildings, grounds and resources provide the best possible environment for students, staff and visitors.

Our site brings together a distinctive mix of historic and modern buildings, from the Manor House and central lawn to more recent specialist teaching and sports facilities. Managing that estate is varied, interesting and important work. The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring that maintenance, compliance, security, cleaning, servicing and site development are well planned, well organised and delivered to a high standard, working closely with the Business Manager, senior leaders, the Site Team, cleaning staff and external contractors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
