Facilities Manager – 12-Month FTC

Manchester / Multi-site

£50,000–£55,000

The opportunity

An established and growing commercial property business is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join its team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You’ll take responsibility for facilities management across a diverse commercial portfolio, working closely with property and asset management teams to maintain high standards and deliver an excellent occupier experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage facilities across multiple commercial sites
  • Oversee hard and soft services, including M&E, cleaning, security, and front of house
  • Lead on health & safety, compliance, risk, and business continuity
  • Manage contractors, suppliers, budgets, and on-site teams
  • Support ESG and sustainability objectives
  • Build strong relationships with occupiers and respond proactively to their needs
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer experience

  • Proven commercial facilities management experience
  • Strong knowledge of H&S and relevant legislation
  • Good understanding of M&E and hard/soft services
  • Experience managing people, suppliers, and budgets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach, and high standards
