Take Ownership of a Key Site Operation
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the safe, compliant and efficient operation of a busy and growing site in Eastleigh.
This is a highly visible role that combines hands-on facilities management with strategic project work. You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring facilities, building services, security, compliance and maintenance activities are delivered to the highest standards.
Working closely with site leadership, health and safety teams, landlords and external contractors, you'll play a pivotal role in creating a safe, well-maintained and productive working environment for employees and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day facilities operations across office, workshop and communal areas.
- Ensure site compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Oversee and coordinate external contractors and service providers.
- Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and manage permit-to-work processes.
- Coordinate statutory inspections, servicing schedules and compliance activities (LOLER and PUWER).
- Support site audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage fire safety arrangements and work alongside designated fire wardens/marshals.
- Oversee building security, access control systems and key management.
- Liaise with landlords and external property stakeholders.
- Lead facilities improvement projects, site upgrades and maintenance programmes.
- Manage contractor and visitor induction processes.
- Maintain facilities asset records and coordinate equipment disposal activities.
- Lead and support facilities and cleaning teams.
- Communicate site works and facilities changes effectively across the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service standards and the workplace environment.

About You
We're looking for a proactive and organised facilities professional with:
- Previous experience in Facilities Management, Building Management, Property Management or a similar environment.
- Experience managing contractors, service providers and outsourced facilities functions.
- Strong knowledge of facilities compliance, maintenance programmes and health & safety requirements.
- Experience reviewing RAMS and operating permit-to-work systems.
- Experience leading, supervising or coordinating facilities or maintenance teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing demands.
