Job Description

Responsible for the operational management and delivery of cost effective, quality and performance driven Cleaning Services, within agreed guidelines and objectives. Responsible for ensuring services are delivered in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and key performance indicators.

Responsible for ensuring all associated policy and procedures are implemented as required.

  • Must be prepared to support and cover for other estates and facilities divisional officers as required within the range of skills, knowledge and experience as agreed with the Head of Facilities.
  • Responsible for the delivery and compliance of Cleaning Services at HRI in accordance with required standards and the technical support for services delivered at CRH under the PFI agreement.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of medium- and long-term operational policy and strategy in accordance with current and future proposed statutory, regulatory and NHS guidance.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of CHFT Reconfiguration programme with a focus on PFI exit at CRH in 2028.
  • Provide professional and technical advice for the development and implementation of new service proposals.
  • Responsible for the operational delivery of cleaning Services including in-house and contracted services ensuring the delivery of quality and value driven services.
  • Responsible for the planning, organisation and implementation of complex activities related to cleaning/facilities services in accordance with client requirements, service specifications, National NHS standards and Best Practice Guides. This will include the implementation of new working practice and service models.
  • Produce and deliver verbal and written reports to Senior Management.
