THE ROLE
The Site Services team is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting all site facilities, utilities, and services to ensure smooth and safe operation of the site. This includes both reactive and preventative maintenance, contractor liaison, improvement projects, and supporting operational teams to minimise downtime. Managing the Site Services budget and handling all related purchasing will also be a component of this role.
- This is a full-time role, reporting directly to the HR Director; hours of work 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday
- Site based in Great Chesterford, Essex: within easy walking distance of local train station (no scope for hybrid working)

THE PERSON
The ideal candidate will
- be a qualified electrician, but also have extensive experience of varied maintenance and installation projects
- have prior experience of managing a site, including compliance with H&S, building and fire regulations, etc
- have knowledge of multiple building services systems (e.g. HVAC, heating, water treatment, compressed air, fire safety, security systems, etc)
- have excellent line management skills, and be used to managing a small team
- be a creative problem solver, able to think on their feet
- have solid admin skills to maintain site records as needed
- be proactive with a hands-on approach, as well as an excellent communicator
