Job Title: Technical Facilities Manager
We are partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an experienced Technical Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of hard FM services within a high-profile, operationally demanding environment.
This is a client-facing leadership role requiring a strong background in hard facilities management, contractor management, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining compliance standards, and developing positive relationships with key stakeholders while leading a small onsite management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of hard FM services through specialist subcontractors.
- Lead and support a team of Facilities Management professionals, ensuring effective operational performance.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities in line with contractual and statutory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor contractor performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the delivery of minor works, quoted projects, and lifecycle activities.
- Ensure all compliance records, operational reports, and documentation are maintained accurately and on time.
- Promote a strong health & safety culture across the site.

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience within a Facilities Management environment, with a strong hard FM focus.
- Experience managing subcontractors and outsourced service delivery contracts.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, maintenance requirements, and contractor management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading, developing, and motivating operational teams.
- Sound understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice.
- Technical qualifications in either an electrical or mechanical discipline would be advantageous.
- IOSH qualification (or equivalent) desirable.

Salary / Package
- £50,000 - 55,000
- Car Allowance
- 25 days holiday
- Pension contribution
