Job title: Facilities Manager

At BTG Eddisons, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional experiences for our clients and tenants. We’re now seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient management of multiple buildings, ensuring operational excellence, financial control, and a strong focus on sustainability.

Key responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee hard and soft services, maintain site documentation, and coordinate with surveyors and property managers
  • Financial Management: Draft and reconcile service charge budgets, manage costs in line with agreed budgets, and provide monthly financial reports
  • Contract Management: Proactively manage supplier contracts, attend review meetings, and mobilise new agreements
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with legislation, maintain Riskwise scores above 90%, and manage contractor safety standards
  • Sustainability: Drive green initiatives, reduce utility consumption, and ensure compliance with sustainability policies
  • CAFM Helpdesk: Maintain accurate records, monitor contractor KPIs, and conduct monthly audits

Qualifications And Experience

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, tenants, and stakeholders
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive, “can-do” approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualification desirable
  • BIFM or IWFM qualification desirable
