Role Title: Facilities Manager
Department: Facilities
Office Location: London
Role Purpose:
Management of both Hard and Soft Facilities and workplace environment for London office and data centres. Direct line management of in-house Facilities and admin staff as well as day to day management of outsourced cleaning and canteen staff. Regional oversight of Jersey, Geneva and Dubai offices. Pivotal role in any Facilities projects and key changes. Ensuring excellent workplace environment standards and health & fire safety compliance and management.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
The ideal candidate has a strong track record managing facilities in a corporate setting where discretion, responsiveness and attention to detail are paramount.
London Office Management
- Overall management of London office facilities (33,000 sqft, 280 staff)
- Maintain workplace standards, landlord relationships and employee experience
- Capacity planning and utilisation management
- Workspace allocation, optimisation and desk strategy
- Office housekeeping standards
- Workplace service level monitoring
- Daily operational issue resolution

Regional Office Oversight
- Jersey office operational and project oversight
- Geneva office strategic oversight and support
- Dubai office, greater operational and project oversight
- Singapore office support and escalation management
- US office support and escalation management
- Cross-office standards alignment with ad hoc travel required
- Global facilities governance and cost approvals
Key Competencies:
- Proven organisational skills, the ability to manage fast paced, high pressure Facilities environments.
- Keen knowledge of critical systems (HVAC, Electrical, Security, Fire/Safety) install, repair and maintenance.
- Culture of efficiency, value and constant improvement.
- Proven Budget & Cost Management skills
- Team worker who has ability to lead by example, no job “too small” attitude.
- Thorough understanding of both Hard and Soft Facilities management.
- Visualisation of workplace operations and drivers for change.
- Keen appetite to space and finish planning of new and refurbished office space.

Key Experience and Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5 years’ experience managing similar Facilities environments (required)
Qualifications:
- Education to Degree level (preferred)
- IOSH or NEBOSH health and safety training (preferred)
