Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7, flexed to meet business needs

Central Hall Westminster is the largest heritage events venue in Westminster, hosting conferences, exhibitions, graduations, corporate events, concerts and public gatherings from 2 to 2,000+ guests. Working with corporate organisations, charities, agencies and private clients, we deliver a diverse programme of events in one of London's most recognised venues. High-profile events hosted at Central Hall Westminster include the Netflix Wednesday Premiere, The Late Show, and the Burberry Fashion Show, reflecting our reputation for delivering memorable experiences in a unique and historic setting.

About The Role
As Facilities Manager – Operations / Health and Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and compliant operation of our landmark building. You will oversee day-to-day facilities operations, contractor performance, Health and Safety compliance, maintenance activities and project delivery, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Working closely with Trustees, tenants, Church representatives, event teams, colleagues and external contractors, you will act as a key point of coordination across the venue. From overseeing compliance and supporting capital works to helping deliver major events and driving continuous improvement, this is a varied role offering both challenge and visibility.
About You
You are an experienced Facilities professional who thrives in a busy and diverse environment. Combining strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, you are confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and coordinating multiple priorities.
You take a proactive and practical approach to problem-solving and understand how to balance operational demands with customer service, compliance and safety requirements. Whether managing contractors, supporting project delivery or championing health and safety best practice, you are committed to delivering high standards and positive outcomes.
You Will Have
Essential
- Proven experience in a facilities management role or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, building regulations, environmental standards, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and service partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Experience investigating incidents, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partners.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.
- Qualification in IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.

- IWFM qualification or membership.
