Facilities / Workplace Experience Manager
Spencer Marshall are partnering with a leading Creative Services firm, occupying a modern, state of the art Workplace in London.
The Facilities / Workplace Manager will be responsible for the day to day delivery and management, operational oversight and continuous improvement of all facilities services across the firm creating and implementing a five star Workplace experience.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver a vision for the delivery of a five star FM / Workplace Experience.
- Champion a “client-first” approach for internal staff, ensuring all workplace touchpoints deliver outstanding service.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery, leveraging technology and best practice.
- Oversee all aspects of facilities services both soft and hard services.
- Assess and modernise FM supply chain and vendor base.
- Develop, modernise and implement SLA's and KPI's to the FM function.
- Manage an in-house FM team, striving to develop and enhance the FM teams delivery and skills offering.
- Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing, multi-skilled team, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Maintain oversight of health & safety compliance, including risk assessments, inductions, and emergency procedures, in partnership with the H&S committee and business continuity leads.
- Manage and Support workplace transformation projects, including office moves, refurbishments, and implementation of new technologies or service models.
- Support budget management for facilities services.
- Assist with tendering, benchmarking, and contract negotiations for relevant suppliers.
- Monitor and report on service usage, spend, and performance, using data and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Manage relationships with landlords and ensure landlords deliver on lease commitments.

Skills and experience
- Experience in a workplace, facilities role.
- Health and Safety Experience.
- Proven track record of managing an FM / Workplace management team.
- Proven experience of innovation and delivery of a best in class FM model.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and build strong relationships.
- Ideally, Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH or NEBOSH).
