About The Role
We’re recruiting for a Facilities Manager to lead service delivery at HMP/YOI Moorland. This is a key leadership role overseeing Hard FM operations within a secure environment, ensuring compliance, performance, and a safe, well-maintained estate.
You’ll manage a large on-site team, work closely with the prison leadership team, and play a vital role in maintaining operational standards across the site.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Leading and managing a large, multi-skilled team, including performance and employee relations matters
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and long-term estate management on behalf of the client
- Building strong working relationships with prison stakeholders and key partners
- Ensuring full compliance with statutory, mandatory, and health & safety requirements
- Driving KPI performance and service delivery standards across the contract
- Managing environmental processes and ensuring adherence to sustainability requirements

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in Hard FM delivery (ideally 5+ years)
- Experience managing large teams in a complex operational environment
- Strong understanding of statutory compliance and audit processes
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
- Relevant FM or technical qualification (desirable)
