Job Title: Facilities Manager – Infrastructure, Buildings & Site Services

Location: Northampton

Job Length: Permanent – Full Time

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depot’s servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.

Purpose of the Role

To oversee the management, maintenance and continuous improvement of site buildings, infrastructure, facilities services and security operations. The role is responsible for ensuring facilities assets are maintained to agreed standards, statutory obligations are met, contractor performance is managed effectively, and budgets are controlled to support operational excellence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all facilities management activities across site buildings, infrastructure and services.
  • Manage maintenance and repair of site fabric, including buildings, roofs, floors, access routes and external areas.
  • Oversee building services such as HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing and utilities infrastructure.
  • Manage site amenities including cleaning, welfare facilities, canteen, changing rooms and office environments.
  • Ensure effective upkeep of external infrastructure including roads, drainage, fencing, landscaping and lighting.
  • Own statutory compliance, inspections and maintenance records, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage site security operations and third-party service providers, ensuring performance against SLAs.
  • Manage contractor management and ensure high standards in service delivery, safety and compliance.
  • Control facilities budgets, supporting cost efficiency while maintaining service quality and asset reliability.
  • Manage continuous improvement, asset management planning and utilisation of CMMS systems for performance tracking and reporting.

Experience and Key Attributes:

  • Engineering degree, HND or equivalent, or significant experience in facilities management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing building maintenance, infrastructure and site services within a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing third-party contractors and service providers.
  • Experience managing facilities budgets and controlling maintenance expenditure.
  • Sound knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective leadership, communication and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Experience working within FMCG, manufacturing, brewing or other fast-paced industrial environments (desirable).
  • Familiarity with CMMS/asset management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (desirable).
