Location

Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm

Working pattern

Mobile role requiring regular travel across London

About the Role

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee facilities management services across approximately 21–22 schools within a defined geographical area. Based in South London, this is a highly mobile role, and you should expect to spend at least three days each week travelling between sites.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of services across your allocated schools, coordinating Dalkia UK engineers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure planned maintenance and compliance requirements are delivered effectively.

This is a client-facing position requiring strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to work independently, make informed decisions and manage priorities without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver the compliance programme across all allocated sites, working with the scheduling team, engineers, subcontractors and school teams.
  • Ensure planned preventative maintenance is completed within the required timescales.
  • Maintain site logbooks, compliance records and supporting documentation to an auditable standard.
  • Carry out scheduled health, safety and compliance inspections, completing reports and managing resulting actions.
  • Review and approve subcontractor risk assessments and method statements before attendance.
  • Supervise subcontractors and review service sheets, certificates and supporting evidence following completion.
  • Hold regular, structured meetings with GLF Regional Partners and school representatives.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Escalate compliance risks, service failures and overdue actions appropriately.
  • Identify remedial and minor works opportunities, coordinate quotations and oversee works from approval through to completion.
  • Maintain accurate compliance, PPM and action-tracking records using the relevant CAFM and reporting systems.
  • Support the Contract Manager in preparing for and attending quarterly and annual client meetings.
  • Ensure services are delivered safely and sustainably and in accordance with legal, statutory and company requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
