Facilities & Office Assistant

5 days working on site in Basingstoke office

📍 Basingstoke | 🚗 Free On-Site Parking | 💷 £25,000 - £30,000

We are looking for a proactive and organised Facilities & Office Assistant to join a friendly and professional team in Basingstoke. This is a varied role combining office administration, facilities coordination, workplace support, and employee engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring office facilities, meeting rooms, kitchens, and communal areas are well maintained and fully stocked
  • Coordinating meeting room setups, catering, visitor arrangements, and deliveries
  • Managing office supplies, stationery, and supplier relationships
  • Logging and coordinating maintenance requests with contractors and service providers
  • Supporting health & safety activities, workplace inspections, and staff inductions
  • Processing purchase orders, invoices, and facilities-related administration
  • Assisting with office projects, workplace improvements, and company events throughout the year

About You

  • Previous experience in administration, office support, customer service, or facilities coordination
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a positive, customer-focused approach
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively as part of a team
